Cezanne Khan: ‘Appnapan’ helped me push the boundaries as an actor

Popular TV actor Cezanne Khan, who is gearing up for the new show called “Appnapan…Badalte Rishton Ka Bandhan”, said the show gave him the opportunity to explore a new nuance as a interpreter.

The show is a family drama, which takes place against the backdrop of Meerut, revolves around the story of a separated couple – Pallavi and Nikhil, who are currently the single parents of their children. Pallavi is a loving helicopter mom to Badal, Barkha and Gagan who is deeply invested in the lives of her children.

On the other hand, Nikhil is a celebrity chef who hides behind his workaholic self and fights to be emotionally available for his children Manna and Harsh. Both Pallavi and Nikhil face their own parenting challenges due to their pasts.

Cezanne Khan, trying out the character of Nikhil, said, “As an actor, I’ve always wanted to explore different genres and characters that help me create a strong impact on the audience. And, Appnapan gives me ample opportunity. opportunity to do so with the character of Nikhil, he is one of New York’s most beloved celebrity chefs, but somehow he feels lost in the crowd due to his past.

“Nikhil’s character has so many layers that make him very interesting. So getting into character and portraying those layers was quite challenging and a great learning experience for me.”

Adding to this, Rajshree Thakur, trying out the character of Pallavi, said: “Although Pallavi has a bitter past, she doesn’t let it affect her children and that’s one of the reasons why she is deeply involved in their life, forcing the children to distance themselves from her. Representing Pallavi has been an extreme joy.

“The show’s creators crafted a promising story with Appnapan that gives a fresh perspective on second chances, family and relationships; I hope viewers enjoy it,” she signed.

‘Appnapan…Badalte Rishton Ka Bandhan’, starts June 15
